
CMAS & FFESSM Courses
CMAS courses as from the CMAS ** or 2nd level, is a leap towards excellence in terms of technique and buoyancy control as well as underwater emergency handling techniques.
The root of nowadays recreational diving has its origine from the CMAS, which at that time was from the military. If you want to get more than recreational diving skills, be able to dive down to 65 meters and learn using a table for decompression dives, you are in the right diving organisation to learn diving.


CMAS Children diving courses
Bronze Dolphin Course (8 year age)
For young adventurers, this is the beginning of the diving journey. The bronze dolphin course includes 3 dives in shallow water. The exercises are done within 1 meter. This certificate allows children to evolve within 3 meters maximum depth. The confine dives last around 15 – 20 minutes. There is a short basic theory session followed by an oral exam. The completion of the course requires 1 day. Log Book and certificates are given at the end of course.
Silver Dolphin Course (10 year age)
Children of 10 year or above may start directly with Silver Dolphin course. The course includes 4 dives from which the exercises not exceeding 2 meters. The certificate allows the divers to evolve within 5 meters depth. The confine dives last around 20 minutes. There is a short basic theory session followed by an oral exam. The completion of the course requires 2 days minimum. Log book and certificates are given at the end of course.
Golden Dolphin Course (10 year age)
Children of 10 years age can also start with the Golden Dolphin directly instead of starting though Silver Dolphin course. The Golden Dolphin includes 5 dives from which the confine dives within 2 meters. The certificate allows the divers to evolve within 10 meters depth. The confine dives last around 20 minutes. There is a short theory session followed by a written exam. The completion of the course requires 3 days minimum. Log Book and certificates are given at the end of the course.
CMAS scuba diver
The CMAS Introduction to diving course is considered as a resort diving course and provides a short and easy way to introduce people with underwater world and receive their first CMAS diving certificate. With this qualification, diver can dive down to 12 meters world wide. Cours can be completed within a half day. Students will have 3 confine dives grouped in 1 session and 1 Open water dive.
Entry requirements
- Student’s minimum age: 14 years (Parental agreement required for all minors)
- Certification level: None
- Be able to swim free style at least 50-metres, without the use of equipment.
- Candidates must be able to declare medical fitness to dive.
CMAS* / Level 1 FFESSM
Issued by Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS). Not very different from the PADI Open water except for the educational material which consists of printed papers from our own course curiculum. CMAS describes the standard as "a diver who is competent in the safe and correct use of all appropriate open water scuba diving equipment in a sheltered water training area [and] is ready to gain open water diving experience in the company of an experienced diver.The certification allows diving down to 20 meters.
CMAS** / Level 2 FFESSM
The CMAS 2* Diver is a diver who is well educated in theory and trained in a practical underwater skills. He is qualified in emergency first response, has basic rescue skills and enough experienced for unassisted planning and conducting of open water dives. He masters buoancy skills from 40 meters to surface and is permitted to perform decompression dives.
Allows you to dive without an instructor to a maximum depth of 20 meters, and to a maximum depth of 40 meters with an instructor.

CMAS*** / Level 3 FFESSM
Allows you to dive without an instructor, to a maximum depth of 60 meters, with no more than two other divers who hold Level 3 (or equivalent) certification. Also allows you to organise your own dives, without a diving director. Requirements: Level 2 (or equivalent) certification, a valid licence, to be at to least 18 years of age, the RIFAP certificate, a doctor's certificate (from a sport, hyperbaric, or FFESSM-licenced doctor) that is less than 12 months old.
